About Us
The Team Baltimore club was formed in August of 2006 to give talented high school players an opportunity to compete in off-season tournaments against elite teams.

Head Coach Lloyd Conyers is the former Coaching Director for the Region VII USFHA Futures site at the University of Maryland. Thus, players are being incorporated in the latest techniques being promoted by the USFHA. He has coached the Region 7 U16 team at the National Futures Tournament in 2001 and the U19 teams in 2002/2003.

Coach Conyers has been a competitor in cricket, field hockey, badminton, racquetball, rugby and basketball and incorporate different sports in his coaching philosophy. He was inducted into the Washington Cricket League Hall of Fame in 2002.

The Club is comprised of players who are in grades 6 thru 12, and reside in Region VII  of the USFHA Futures Development program.

Players are being trained in state of the art  technique, which will help their high school immensely when they return to show their team mates, all the different tricks that they have learnt.

Leadership is a key ingredient of our players development. They are expected to lead their high schools as well as mentor younger players.
Since our Head Coach is a big Brazil soccer fan as well as a Lakers/Magic Johnson show time fan, the team incorporates an upbeat full court press NBA defense and a free flowing counter attacking offence, where every player has strong 1 V 1 skills and like Brazil, any player can score on the field. The result is that our defense has scored a considerable amount of goals by counterattacking and overlapping. We do a lot of NBA style dribbling where players use their hip to protect the ball. Players are well versed with drag dribbling with their left hand as well as their right.

Players will play with their high schools in the Fall and Team Baltimore in the winter.
